HOUSE OF CLOWNS
A unique culture centre House of Clowns was open on March, 8 in Odessa in the former Druzhba cinema-building in the Olgiyevska street, 23. Mask show comic group led by its unchangeable leader Georgy Deliyev embodied the theatre opening idea. The opening ceremony has become a grand show: actors entertained the audience and journalists, and instead of the traditional red ribbon Deliev and Barskiy together with the mayor of Odessa sawed a log on the scene, painted red.
Othello poetic comedy premier was dedicated to the opening of the theater, which was another gift to residents and visitors. As in their previous theatrical productions the author of texts is Boris Barskiy, and the director is George Deliev. Over the next three evenings of Masks pleased the crowd with the new play premiere to a full house. The next premiere was on Yumorina day. Artists comic troupe artists played in his theater a big show-Review called Attack of the Clowns which was shown in Odessa only fragmentary before.
Since the first day the theater doors were open to colleagues and associates of the famous comic troupe: clowns and comedians - for all creative, restless, unorthodox thinkers. Some programs focus on creative work of artists not only from Odessa, but also from other cities and countries.
Odessa City Day, September 2, did not accidently coincided with the opening of the theater season at the House of Clowns (at least that's what the comic troupe artists think). To these holidays comic troupe gave the audience the Review-play featuring Masks and the Village of Fools comic trio.
All performances based on plays B.Barskiy of Hopscotch series are played in the theatre such as Romeo and Juliet, Don Giovanni, Orpheus and Eurydice and others, clown program from the repertoire of the comic troupe. There are plans to restore and put in a new processing performance of Symphony of Night. But Boris Barskiy thinks meanwhile of the new comedy called The Three Sisters.
Also in the House of clowns B.Barskiy evenings of poetry are held, which are built in the form of a dialogue with the audience. Moreover, according to Boris, in his solo program, he demonstrates the creative space, ranging from poetry (a lot of it, at the moment came four collections of Barskiy poems) and pantomime and ending with vocal abilities, dancing and tricks demonstration.
The collective called Skilled feet is a regular participant of the House of Clowns show projects at the House of clowns. One of the largest was held in May 22, 2004, where the school has shown step dance show in the genre of American, Irish tap dance and an art of Flamenco dance with elements of theater ("tap band") and eccentric in the dance rooms.
Mask Show artists do not forget about social action. So on the eve of Teacher's Day comic troupe and the District Department of Education held at the House of clowns a concert for all teachers in the Primorsky district of Odessa. And since November at the theater is open Sunday Family Club which will delight children and adults with a variety of recreational programs every Sunday.
For Day of persons with disabilities at the stage of House of Clowns Phoenix group will perform a unique show of its kind under the direction of Eugene Voloshina. The audience will be presented with the original program with dances and songs performed in Sign Language.
A lot of ideas are on the stage especially for children. So Ball Show plays are played regularly as well as leading Israeli artists Jo-Jo and Li-li in the Island of clowns. The programs performance animals, stunning acrobatics, actors, improvisers, which involve the audience in their actions, making the audience members view. In fall Children Theatre in the House of Clowns performs mosaic in a colorful performance with the performance of songs in German called Figaro. Maski Show comic troupe took care of children who like to work inviting kids to an acting school to the House of Clowns" theatre. Classes are conducted by experts in dance, dramatics and Maski artists in their spare time.

After the Masks coming into a former cinema, the building has changed and what is most important has acquired a light and good energy. The renewed auditorium resembles a medieval city with statues, columns, balconies, getting in that you forget about all the troubles and sorrows. Artists decided to make a gift for admirers of their work which is the fourth wall where everyone can leave the wish for Maski actors.
After the performance you can extend the holiday in an art cafe, which is open at the theater, Restore mana-mana. All visitors are greeted by Boris Barsky and Natalia Buzko, George Deliev will remind you that the cafe was opened on September 19, 2003. How the idea that artists greeted the guests embodies when the entire troupe is on tour, you will see when visit the Art Cafe on any given day from 11.00 till the last visitor.
In the cafe you can enjoy the White Guard salad, scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cheese, Hamlet, enjoy the Parthene salad: perch fried with Giordano Bruno sauce and other tasty things.
